Gyumin Kim
Gyumin Kim is a South Korean director, screenwriter, and AI artist. After studying Advertising and Content at Seokyeong University, he founded KYUM, an AI-based video production studio that creates short films, commercials, and music videos using AI as a core creative partner. His key works include the AI film Beyond The Screen, the music video How We Love, and the AI art piece The Recursion of Gaze, which explore how technology, memory, and emotion can be woven into a single cinematic language. In 2025, Kim received the Best Screenplay Award at GMAFF, the Best Picture Award and Popularity Award at the Yeosu International Web Drama Film Festival, and the Silver Prize at the global AI art competition GAIAC for The Recursion of Gaze. His work has also been nominated at AI FILM AWARDS BALI and selected as a semi-finalist at the Tianjin International Academic Film Festival, highlighting his growing presence on the international AI film stage. Working at the intersection of technology and art, Kim continues to experiment with new audiovisual formats that rethink how stories are told—and how humans and AI can co-create them.
