Javier Hinojosa Allely
J. H. Allely (Seville, 1979) is an award-winning screenwriter and co-creator of the anthology series Edificio 23, where each apartment becomes the stage for a self-contained story exploring human emotion through different genres. His writing is defined by a minimalist visual style, expressive use of silence, and a strong emotional core. His scripts aim to move audiences through imagery rather than dialogue. He has received several Best Screenplay awards for his short films Liberación and Nada sin ti, along with multiple finalist and nominee distinctions in international festivals. His works, as complete short films, have collectively earned over 50 international awards and numerous official selections worldwide. Within the Edificio 23 universe, Allely has written the short films Liberación, Nada sin ti, and Mírame (currently in post-production), as well as three comics inspired by the series. With a distinctive cinematic voice, he continues to develop stories that blend emotion, visual power, and human depth.
