Lena Byrne

Lena Byrne has been collaborating with writers for twenty-five years, helping their scripts and ideas to shine. After a decade script editing and training writers on RTÉ’s ‘Fair City’, she moved to script edit ‘Roy’ (CBBC) before becoming the Head of Scripting in JAM Media. In that role, she was Supervising Script Producer on ‘Becca’s Bunch’ (Nickelodeon) and ‘Jessy and Nessy’ (Amazon) and led the writing team on ‘Little Roy’ (CBeebies) and ‘Zogcasts’ (CBBC). In 2020, Lena co-founded Sow You Entertainment where she was in-house Producer and Development Producer across their slate. She also volunteered in her former school Trinity Comprehensive Ballymun to create a teen drama in partnership with Fighting Words. Spring 2024 saw Lena embark on a solo venture launching her own production company, D11 Stories.
