Mark Robert Spurlock

Mark Spurlock, arrived into the entertainment world when he was asked by a friend to help on a weekly sports radio show which turned into a 10-year running daily radio show (KSVL). By chance, a local screenwriter who followed the antics of a radio character Mark portrayed on the show advised him to write a screenplay about the character. At first questioning his ability to bring the character to life on paper, Mark came up with the screenplay Rock Spinner. This initial taste of writing led to the next screenplay; a comedy entitled The Outlaw Josey from Wales. This second production was chosen best comedy at The Wild Bunch Film Festival in 2019. Mark has continued writing, producing a short, a pilot and currently has two more features nearing completion. He has three animations that he has written and are in production. Mark continues to expand his interests, venturing into documentaries and is involved in film making every chance he gets.
