Mihai Grecu

Mihai Grecu is a Romanian-born artist and filmmaker based in Paris. His work blends experimental cinema, animation, documentary, and artificial intelligence to explore themes such as collective memory, political fiction, and the influence of technology on perception. A graduate of Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains, Grecu's films have been shown at numerous international festivals and exhibitions, including Rotterdam IFF, Clermont-Ferrand, and Palais de Tokyo. His artistic approach often evokes surreal, meditative landscapes that confront historical trauma and speculative futures through hybrid visual languages.
