Teodora Grano

TEODORA GRANO Director, Choreographer, performer. Based in Italy. She has worked without permanent residency across contemporary theatre, circus, performance, and dance—mostly in formats that defy orthodoxy. She trained and worked between Wrocław, Athens, Berlin, Brussels, and Rome. Founder of the collective ALIX MAUTNER. Permanent member of the performing arts company CollettivO CineticO since 2018. Her research centers on a future literature, where the relationship between writing and the body places reading at the core of inquiry. She uses portraiture and genealogical investigation to unearth the historical and social layers within personal experience. She belongs to that portion of humanity for whom writing is a sensory organ. 50% punk, 30% ironic, 20% dead serious.
