Vinícius Correia is a filmmaker and producer dedicated to the essence of the cinematographic image. For 10 years, he has spearheaded Curta Circuito, a landmark permanent film showcase in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Now in its 26th year, the festival is recognized for its unwavering commitment to the preservation and celebration of Brazilian cinematic memory. His career is marked by high-level international collaborations, having served as assistant director on the feature Nimuendajú (Tânia Anaya), a project developed within the prestigious framework of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. In 2025, Vinícius consolidated his directorial voice with his first feature, "October", which was selected for the 12th Brasil CineMundi and screened at the Marché du Film - Cannes Film Festival. Moving between institutional leadership and an observant directorial lens, Correia’s work explores the inner architecture of the artist. His latest project investigates the rigorous solitude and silent discipline of a conductor, capturing the tension between the artist's internal world and the precision required by his craft.
