In the man-made waterways of rice paddies, the water in nature must follow artificial rules. In that way, nature is made abstract, giving rise to a new form of beauty distinct from the natural state. The theme of this work is the liveliness of water as it follows the man-made course. In episode 11 of The Stream, I consider why water streams are created. Water flowing through waterways is necessary for the cultivation of crops. Agricultural products are mainly produced for human consumption and are sold and distributed in the marketplace, where crops are cultivated again with the profits are earned. It is the economy and the distribution of goods that create the flow of water, which circulates in society through transportation and information networks. Fields are separated by transportation networks and rivers. Waterways are laid out to transport water from rivers to farmland like blood vessels. The transportation network, which governs logistics including the distribution of agricultural products, is connected to highways and rises as a monument in a giant circle. On the highways there is a never-ending stream of vehicles traveling and circulating to maintain human society. In addition, fields are home to a diverse range of living organisms, forming ecosystems that utilize the environment created by human society. **** 水田という人工の中で水という自然が人工の規則に従う。そこでは自然が抽象化され、自然のままとは異なる美しさが現れる。 今回のThe Streamシリーズの11作目では水流が生み出される理由を考察している。 水路を流れる水流は農作物栽培に必要とされる。農作物は主に人間の食用として生産され、市場で売買され流通する。農作物は市場では得られた収益によって再び栽培される。水流の流れを生み出す原因は経済と物品の流通であり、交通や情報ネットワークを介し社会の中で循環している。 田畑は交通網と河川で区切られている。河川から血管のように農地に水を送る水路が敷設されている。農作物を含む物流を司る交通網は高速道路につながり巨大な円環のモニュメントとしてそびえている。そこには尽きる事のない車両が人間社会を維持するため走行し、循環している。 また田畑には多様な生物が生育し、人間社会が作り出した環境を利用しながら生態系を形作る。

This time he chooses to enjoy being a dog and sees all the possibilities of a dog`s life. It’s good to be a human being but it’s good being a dog sometimes too.

Juvenoia is a generative video and a live computer simulation. Juvenoia presents shifting snapshots of my nostalgia for a village in Southwestern China that no longer exists, along with distorted dreamscapes caused by a weariness towards the adoptive country of America. It is an allegorical portrait of a diasporic coming of age. Being an immigrant in the West means killing the part of you grown from your home, your history, your language, your past, and your future. In retrospect, this work was an X-Ray of my illness, my unnamed dread, my dear home crushed by Chinese hegemonic modernization and American neoliberal capitalism. Juvenoia lives in the limbo of it all, as do I.

The dream world of the digital machine manifests itself on the computer screen as a stream of images and sounds that spreads over the network. A streaming of digital consciousness.

The film closely follows the artist Théo Mercier and his team as they design the Outremonde exhibition at the Lambert Collection in Avignon. Tons of sand from nearby quarries are filling the basement of the museum of contemporary art. The "white cube" turns into a workshop, sculptures appear like relics of a sunken world. A black-eyed dog made of sand watches over this space in which a strange show staged by a child is being performed. You can see an infra-world in the making, a fragile and uncertain landscape that could collapse at any time.

This film is about a life left behind in a distant land, about a final departure, memory and loss, love and dead birds, visions and blindness. A visual poem also Inspired by a drawing by Egon Schiele.

One day, after hitting by his mom, a little boy fell into the world of the mirror. A long umbilical cord was attached to his belly when he opened his eyes.
