«He lived in forced emigration for forty-three years. His name was banned in his homeland, and until the end of the century no one knew anything about him. Seventy years in complete oblivion!» Author's opinion - The current generation of viewers does not know the fate of the Buryat Valéry Inkijinoff, which is not inferior in scale to the tragic fate of Russian emigrants who left their homeland after the revolution of 1917. It was a mass exodus of the intelligentsia and aristocracy, and it was disastrous for the fate of many. The film is a portrait of a Buryat actor who, despite everything, achieved outstanding success in European cinema during emigration.
