In the open fields of Friesland, Hannes Scherjon carries the weight of a familylegacy as a sixth-generation clog-maker and son of a fierljeppen champion. With his first child on the way, he feels that this may be his last chance toclose a chapter from his past. Once forced into retirement by injury, Hannes now makes one final comeback to claim the Frisian Championship (FK) , the one title that has always eluded him. As he balances training, the family business, and fatherhood, setbacks and injuries test his resolve. The season culminates in the charged atmosphere of the championship where Hannes must push past rivals, self-doubt, and his own limits. Whatever the outcome, the story finds its quiet resolution in the moment he stands with his newborn son by his fierjeppolder, a passing of the torch, and a reminder that true legacy is not about repeating the past, but about carrying it forward in your own way.
