UNDER*SCORE

The film under*score introduces Jesseline Preach, an interdisciplinary musician with Ghanaian roots. We follow Jess, Don and Maya along the streets of Hamburg and witness their intimate conversations about friendship, selfhood and feelings. Issues and matters, lyrics and rhythm are put in the context of their everyday social environment and political architecture. The film invites us to take a deep look into the different shades of the artist’s public persona, personality and artistic practices.
