Starting out at Turner and Nat Geo Simion carved out a creative niche making film trailers and idents. Having garnered several industry awards for his work, Simon moved on to re-brand the Discovery Channel, launch E4 and direct acclaimed spots for numerous broadcast clients. He developed an impressive commercials career shooting spots for National Geographic, Suzuki and Channel 4 including ‘Iraq: The Bloody Circus’, which won awards at D&AD, BTAA and Creative Circle. Since then his unique voice and distinctive visual talent has seen him direct for clients such as Orange, Canon, HSBC, Vauxhall, Vodafone, Hovis, Mastercard, O2 and Sony. A superb communicator and valued collaborator, his work has warmth, honesty and an observational charm derived from real life and the peculiarities of the human spirit with a unique ability to find magic in the mundane and beauty in the most surprising places.
