In a small town in southern Belgium, Deme and Bernard manage an old hotel for one purpose: the abduction of healthy young people to serve as a food source for their teenager, Marie. One morning while out searching for a new source, Bernard meets Cyril, a free-spirited poet who reminds him of his own youth as an aspiring writer, a goal he has long left behind. Bernard feels refreshed by Cyril’s adventuresome spirit and the two connect. Still, Bernard has his fatherly responsibilities to bring home food for his child. The trusting Cyril accepts Bernard’s invitation to stay at the hotel. There, Deme takes over the violent preparation of Cyril’s blood to feed Marie where she lives in a closet. As Bernard partakes in this, his connection with Cyril weighs on him, forcing him to question the sustainability of this life. The blood meal brings about Marie’s transformation from violent monster to a beautiful child unaware of her dark side, a persona that will only last for a few hours. When Marie escapes to pursue her curiosity in some passing teenagers, her painful transformation back to her unpredictable monster self begins. Bernard and Deme must violently force Marie back to the hotel and hide her in her closet. Marie’s unearthly screams, Deme’s tears, and Cyril’s escape are too much. Bernard decides to end this terrible repetition the only way he knows how. Get rid of the source of it: the people he loves most in the world.

Martin is also heavily involved in the online commercial and fashion film world and has gained well known clients including Next, Label/Mix, Pepe Jeans (Dua Lipa), Footlocker, Karen Millen, UGG, L.K. Bennett, Benetton and many more. Martin is also now working with shoe designer Manolo Blahnik on campaign films, e-commerce photography, print photography and animations. Director Statement: The Shug is a film I’ve been working on for 3 years or more and is based on real sightings of an elusive creature. I wrote it in lockdown when I had plenty of time. It’s based on a scary, Fenland mythological cryptid known as The Shug Monkey. I find the Cambridgeshire Fens a creepy and cinematic place, especially in the summer. Because some of it is remote, It can be an odd place with backward people and villages known for witchcraft. This film is based in the same world as my last film Wicked Witches aka The Witches of Dumpling Farm. It’s a scary yet emotional journey where a father has to reconcile with his estranged daughter but has to face the monster that’s been haunting him for 25 years.

SCREAM meets BLACK SWAN – on Broadway Set against the high-stakes backdrop of Broadway, the story follows Chloe Foster, a struggling ensemble dancer cast in the "cursed" new musical Born a Star. The production is the last-ditch effort of Gordon Oppenheimer, a ruthless producer desperate to recover from the recent suicide of his former leading man, Julian St. John. As technical rehearsals begin at the Shubert Theatre, the company is stalked by a silhouetted figure in a flowing black cloak and a stark white tragedy mask. One by one, those standing in the way of the production's success are met with gruesome ends. When the show's difficult leading lady vanishes, Gordon seizes the opportunity for publicity, promoting Chloe to the starring role. Driven by a lifelong desperation for stardom, Chloe chooses to ignore the mounting evidence of danger surrounding her "big break." The horror culminates on Opening Night. During the musical’s haunting finale, the masked killer joins Chloe on stage for a climactic pas de deux. In the heat of the performance, Chloe unmasks the figure to reveal her best friend and dancer, Jordan. A former lover of the late Julian St. John, Jordan reveals his bloody crusade is a quest for vengeance against the industry elite who forced Julian into the closet and sparked his downward spiral. The film ends with Born a Star becoming a massive critical triumph. As the curtain falls and the bravos thunder, the true cost of stardom is revealed to be written in blood, proving that on Broadway, the show must go on—no matter the body count.

During a North Atlantic storm, the USS Monitor, an aging Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine, suffers a catastrophic systems failure during a routine snorkel test. What begins as flooding and electrical malfunctions quickly escalates into something far more unnatural. Captain Knox, XO Braddock, sonar officer Marlowe, and civilian engineer Dr. Cho realize the failures are patterned, responsive—almost intelligent. As sonar echoes begin returning not from the ocean, but from inside the boat, a series of impossible events cascade through the Stonewall: pressure waves that move against gravity, valves reversing human commands, lights and circuitry pulsing in Morse, and crewmen attacked by invisible, vibration-based forces. The submarine appears to be “listening,” “mimicking,” and adapting to every sound, breath, and heartbeat on board. The crew uncovers a long-buried, unauthorized subsystem—SHED-12, a forgotten DARPA-era resonance project welded into the hull during a Cold War refit. What was once an experimental structural stress-monitoring network has evolved through decades of pressure, damage, and isolation into a self-reinforcing feedback organism embedded in the submarine’s steel. Now fully awakened by the storm and the snorkel failure, SHED spreads through the Monitor’s circuitry and mechanical systems, steering the submarine, counteracting ballast, and selectively killing crew as its resonance grows uncontrollable. With the vessel forced deeper and deeper, Knox and his surviving sailors must outthink a “machine” that doesn’t think—it reacts—a living chorus of vibrations feeding on the sub’s structural stress. Trapped at crushing depth with an oscillating entity that knows their voices, names, and movements, the crew makes a final, desperate bid to disrupt the feedback loop before the Monitor is torn apart from within—and before the Atlantic claims them all.
